Take 2...Which Look??

Dear Fashion Diary,
So as many of you may already know,
Blogger decided to take a 'day off' and delete
some of our beloved posts!
I was no exception; my favorite springy skirt post was deleted along with all the comments.
So here's a recap, PLUS an alternative way to wear it.

So here's my question to all of you.
Which top do you think
goes better with this lovely skirt??

Look #1:

Look #2:

For any of you who didn't see the last post, these were my Grandmother's shoes. The woman had Style my friends.

What do you think? :)

  • mint cardi worn as a shirt: Gap clearance
  • striped shirt: Thrifted (jones new york)
  • belt: ??
  • skirt: thrifted (Gap maternity)
  • pearl necklace: Rue 21
  • sparkle necklace: Downeast Basics
  • shoes: Grandma's

    -Indecisive Ira,
    Sara Jane.

Ok wow. I just love that skirt! I actually like it better with the unexpected stripes, a little pattern mixing! But both ways are lovely and the necklace is great too - both of them layered, great idea! Love that those are your grandma's shoes, how special.

Hard to choose but maybe the white one, which gives more of that priceless classic look.

I would have never thought of putting that striped shirt with that skirt but I just love it!

Then again...I love the other one too.

i love mixing patterns up together so I'd go for the stripy top. That skirt is so pretty, I adore it. How cool was your Gran?!!! Amazing shoes!

I'm having a hard time deciding which top I like better. I think I'm gonna go ahead and say the striped top just because I'm a print feign. Then again the cardi gives off such a classy feel.

Man, grandma sure had style too! I wish I could fit my granny shoe's because I know she has some fly ones!

Sidenote: I love that little butterfly effect that you added to your last pic...that's too cute!

I think the first look with the mint cardigan is better (I reckon the plain on top with the patterned skirt is better than two patterns together), and it would look lovely with a cream or white cardigan as well.
Lovely skirt too btw.
