Girl in a Yellow Dress {giveaway winner}

Thank you to all you wonderful gals that entered the bracelet giveaway!
Our winner is comment #45, Jessi!! Congrats girl!

Dear Fashion Diary,

this frame I painted for our house happened to match my outfit! photo prop....whaaat!

You want to know a secret? This dress is sleeveless! I happened to own a shirt that almost exactly matched the color of the dress so that I could make it modest.
It might be yellow overload...then again, is there such a thing?!

My one and only Modcloth dress I could afford. I've always wanted
to scoop up every single item on that website
but the prices are just a tad outrageous for me. So I waited for a sale on clearance
items and finally got one about a year ago!
Once someone asked me where I got this dress when I wore it out somewhere,
and as soon as the word Modcloth left my lips they all groaned
and said "'re one of those girls who can afford Modcloth dresses.."
Haha!! I tried to explain it was a mega sale but I think they stopped
listening at that point. I thought it was hilarious
that there's a stigma that goes along with buying Modcloth clothes.

And yes, these are the 9.99 shoes from Charlotte Russe I introduced you to
in this post!  I am seriously starting to make CR my
go-to place. I don't love every single thing on the shelves but if you dig
just a little bit you'll find treasures for not too much $$ :)
I just got a coral Jcrew inspired bubble necklace there for $5 on Black Friday!!
How was your Thanksgiving and Black Friday shopping??
Tell me your adventures!

I love this look! And I can't believe I never thought of putting a similar color top under sleeveless dresses! It's so obvious, but so genius! You have a fantastic blog, I'd love for you to stop by mine and follow if you'd like (I'd follow you back of course!).

Teal and yellow is one of my favorite color combinations! By the way, I would've never realized you had a shirt layered under the dress if you hadn't told us! :)
